2. Website information
We take reasonable care to keep programme and admissions information accurate and current. This website is general information. It is not an offer of a place, a guarantee of admission to any other institution, immigration advice, or legal or financial advice.
3. Who can study with us
Learners must be 18 or over on the programme start date.
You must already hold immigration permission that allows you to study with us, and we check this before making an offer. Educere Academy is not a licensed Student sponsor and does not issue a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies.
If you are outside the UK, or you are not certain whether your current permission allows you to study with us, please speak to us before you apply so we can talk it through.
We are not immigration advisers and nothing here is immigration advice. Regulated advice is available from an adviser registered with the Immigration Advice Authority.
4. Programme availability
Applications may open before a cohort date or study pattern is finally confirmed, and we say so on the relevant page where that applies. Admissions will confirm availability, delivery pattern, location and any offer conditions in writing.
5. Applying
Applying is free. There is no application fee and no deposit. Starting an application does not create a study contract or guarantee a place.
You must give accurate and complete information, including about your immigration status, and tell us promptly if anything changes. We may ask follow up questions and request evidence. We may decline an application where entry requirements, programme fit, capacity, your immigration status or another relevant requirement are not met, and we may withdraw an offer if information you gave was materially inaccurate or incomplete.
6. Education agents
Some applicants apply through an education agent. An agent acts for you, not for Educere.
No agent is authorised to make an offer, vary these or any other terms, guarantee a visa or progression outcome, or collect fees on our behalf. We never ask you to pay tuition fees to an agent. If anyone asks you to pay fees to an account other than the one shown on an Educere invoice, do not pay, and contact us on the number above.
Always check anything an agent tells you against this website or directly with us.
7. Fees and payment
No payment is taken through this website and nothing is payable until you accept an offer.
If your application is successful you will receive an invoice, our bank transfer details and the contractual terms that apply. International Foundation Year fees may be paid in full or in three instalments across the programme, with no interest and no charge for choosing instalments. English language and pre-sessional fees are payable in full before the course starts.
8. Qualifications and progression
The International Foundation Year is developed and delivered by Educere Academy. It is not an externally awarded or accredited qualification. Completing any Educere programme does not guarantee admission to a university, satisfaction of an English language condition, or any other progression or immigration outcome. Those decisions are made by other organisations.
9. Acceptable use
Do not misuse this website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, submit unlawful, offensive or false material, impersonate another person, scrape the site, or use automated methods that disrupt the service. We may suspend access and report serious misuse.
10. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the text, design, images and branding on this website belong to Educere Academy or are used with permission. You may view, save and print information for your own decision making. You may not reproduce, republish or use it commercially without our written permission.
11. Links to other websites
Links are provided for convenience. We do not control other websites and are not responsible for their content, security or privacy practices.
12. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to that, we provide this website on an "as available" basis and do not guarantee uninterrupted access. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on general website information rather than the written offer and contractual terms we issue to you.
13. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The version and date above show the current position, and continued use of the website means you accept the terms then in force.
